On Sunday, April 28, the 50th aircraft produced by Aircraft Industries left the factory. It was the 50th manufactured piece since 2005, when the company was taken over by a new owner and gained its current company name.
Since 2005, more than half of our manufactured products have gone to the Russian Federation, which is one of our prior target markets. Other aircraft were delivered to our traditional destinations, such as South America (Brazil, French Guyana), Africa (Algeria, South Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Djibouti), Asia (Korea, Kazakhstan) and Europe (Slovak Republic, Bulgaria).
The 50th aircraft headed to the autonomous Republic of Komi in the north part of the Russian Federation. It is already the third aircraft for this customer, which will be used not only for standard regional transport of passengers, but it will also be operated like a multifunctional, because it can be equipped with a para kit for paratroopers and a sanitary kit for a flying ambulance.
The successfully "celebrated" anniversary of the 50th departure of a manufactured aircraft from the company airport was an interest to the local public. Aircraft Industries is the only producer of civil transport aircraft in the Czech Republic and is the largest employer in the region.
